? Who Am I

I paint from instinct. Colour first, everything else second. What forms in the faces, the figures, the tangled botanicals, isn't really about any one person or place. It's about the stuff underneath. The longing and the wildness, the tenderness and the strangeness of just being here. I've absorbed art from everywhere, and what I'm trying to make is something that feeds back into that same stream. Work that feels like it was always there, waiting to be painted.

Most of my life runs on logic. I study aerospace engineering and physics; a world of precision, systems, things that have to be exactly right. Painting is the opposite of that. No rules, no correct answer, no blueprint. Just colour and instinct and the satisfaction of watching something form from nothing.

I never formally trained. I found my own way in, painting and drawing when I could, building a language that felt like mine rather than borrowed. I paint with friends, I paint for fun, and I paint because it's one of the few things that makes the world feel genuinely understood. Not solved. Just felt.

A young man with a beard and brown hair, wearing a navy blue T-shirt and gray shorts, is sitting on a red patterned chair in front of a table. He is holding a paintbrush in his right hand, which is near his face, and has a playful expression with one eye closed and tongue sticking out. Behind him, there are several colorful abstract paintings on easels, featuring swirling patterns and vibrant colors. The background includes a wall with pinboards full of various artwork, posters, and photographs.
